“Paintings” to the me can mean many things, and have throughout time.  From cave walls, animal skins, papyrus, human skin, and now graffiti artists who use walls, concrete, even railcars. Now computers add to the mix of artist tools. The imagination seems to know no bounds for where the creative artist might leave or make their mark.

I often paint on a traditionally stretched fabric canvas, and have many times worked beyond these constraints on unstretched canvases, furniture, skis, gourds, window coverings, floor coverings, fabric yardages and more. All with the purpose to live esthetically.

My contemporary works often function on a large architectural scale and can be found in many private, corporate, and university collections nationally and internationally. I have also done stage and costume design as well as convention and religious settings with my vision.
